Role & Responsibilities

• Define, deploy and monitor global retail and franchise commercial procedures, policies and governance.
• Oversee finance and internal control processes including discount governance, AML protocols, sanctions screening and tax refund workflows.
• Coordinate the annual update and regional cascade of the global store handbook, ensuring procedural consistency across markets.
• Lead inventory compliance and control: define inventory rules and best practices for receiving, transfers, discrepancies and shrinkage; supervise fiscal inventories globally.
• Direct the Retail IT roadmap: optimise hardware, software, connectivity, POS tools, POS design, stock and reporting systems and update operational IT procedures.
• Design and implement workload optimisation and task automation programs to balance front‑ and back‑office activities and improve store productivity.
• Standardise in‑store operational elements (uniform guidelines, marketing collateral and shopping bag flows, packaging and labelling) and ensure Health & Safety compliance.
• Drive the harmonisation of client experience standards and hospitality protocols across markets.
• Provide operational support for strategic store projects including flagship openings, pop‑ups, takeovers and bespoke activations.
• Build and maintain strong cross‑functional relationships with Internal Control, IT, Supply Chain, E‑commerce/Omnichannel, Client Care, CRM and regional retail leadership; manage communications to regional offices and stores via retail applications and intranet.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven international retail operations experience, ideally within luxury fashion or premium retail.
• Demonstrated mastery of boutique operations, stock management, POS processes and retail finance controls.
• Extensive project management experience with a track record delivering complex, cross‑functional global initiatives.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into operational strategies and KPIs.
• Expert command of retail IT environments; hands‑on experience with retail applications and POS ecosystems (CEGID experience is a strong asset).
• Mandatory international experience and experience coordinating multiple regions.
• Fluent English; proficiency in a second language (German, Chinese or French preferred).
• Entrepreneurial mindset, pragmatic problem‑solver and collaborative leader who values the role of support functions.

Minimum 5 years of international retail operations experience, with demonstrated leadership of cross‑regional projects and operational programmes in luxury or premium retail environments.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, retail management, operations, logistics or a related discipline preferred.
