RIMOWA Senior Project Manager in Cologne, Germany. Lead product development and complex projects managing budget, schedule, and cross-functional teams within LVMH's iconic travel brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyse marketing briefs and style design proposals to identify feasibility and strategic alignment
  • Conduct comprehensive project feasibility studies and develop architectural product proposals
  • Design efficient development deliverables including virtual and physical prototyping, technical mock-ups, and risk analyses to support decision-making
  • Create and validate product definition files (BOM, specifications) and design justification documentation per PDM and quality assurance processes
  • Plan and scope pre-projects with defined goals, deliverables, and project schedules aligned to product development processes
  • Establish and manage project budgets, resource allocation, and team composition
  • Calculate unit costs in collaboration with purchasing and production teams, monitor margins and project KPIs
  • Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and change requests while providing technical and management support to the development team
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Style, Marketing, Technical Designers, Prototypists, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality teams
  • Manage the homologation process for products and components ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Engineering or technical bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar project management or product development role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data management, data analysis, and relevant analytical tools
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Experience in process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Capability to simplify and communicate complex technical topics to diverse stakeholders
