RIMOWA seeks Senior IT Backoffice Transformation Project Manager in Cologne, Germany for enterprise systems transformation leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead strategic analysis and solution definition across production, quality, engineering, supply chain, R&D, product, and sales departments to identify improvement opportunities and guide integrated solution design
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for the implementation of core business solutions including SAP S/4HANA (Purchasing, Manufacturing, Distribution), PLM, Collaborative Applications, and QA tools
- Assemble and lead cross-functional project governance committees to ensure alignment and coordinated decision-making across all involved departments and stakeholders
- Foster effective collaboration with consultants, technical teams, and business units throughout the entire project lifecycle to achieve seamlessly integrated solutions
- Oversee seamless implementation of solutions while ensuring strict adherence to project timelines, quality benchmarks, and industry best practices
- Coordinate with IT teams to ensure all necessary system integrations are properly planned, executed, and validated
- Develop and manage comprehensive change management strategies to drive adoption and acceptance of new systems and processes across all business units
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of proven track record successfully leading and delivering complex IT system transformation programs
- Strong expertise in managing complex ERP implementations with significant SAP experience, ideally including S/4HANA transformations
- Deep background in manufacturing processes, procurement, quality management, engineering, supply chain, R&D, product development, and sales operations
- Exemplary project management skills encompassing planning, execution, risk management, and budget control
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English and intermediate German; French is a plus
