Rimowa seeks a Sales Supervisor in New York to lead boutique sales, drive clienteling and deliver exemplary luxury service at the Madison flagship.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive and exceed individual and boutique sales targets, KPIs and client development objectives through high-impact selling and clienteling.
  • Cultivate and maintain lasting relationships with a discerning luxury clientele through personalized service and proactive follow-up.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, demonstrating luxury selling, hospitality and service excellence to inspire the team.
  • Coach, develop and motivate sales staff; support onboarding, training and ongoing performance management to elevate team capability.
  • Support and execute store events, marketing initiatives and business-driving strategies to increase traffic and conversion.
  • Oversee daily operational standards including opening/closing procedures, inventory control, shipping/receiving and store presentation.
  • Maintain proficiency in POS, CRM/clienteling tools and other operational systems; ensure compliance with company policies and luxury service standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in luxury retail, fashion or hospitality with demonstrable sales results.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and retain high-value clients; an established luxury client book is strongly desirable.
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Deep appreciation for luxury craftsmanship, travel and elevated lifestyles, aligned with the Rimowa brand.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to regularly lift and handle items up to 20 lbs.
  • Multilingualism in Spanish, French, Portuguese or Mandarin considered a strong asset.

Experience
