RIMOWA Retail Support Associate, Soho Flagship, New York – Full-time operations role supporting store productivity and inventory management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Reports to the Store Manager and ensures accurate completion of assigned work duties
- Monitors the flow of all incoming shipments and follows up promptly on any discrepancies
- Assists with year-end inventory counts, including preparation and execution
- Determines appropriate shipping methods and prepares all relevant documentation
- Maintains all stock areas in neat, clean, and orderly condition according to company standards
- Performs basic luggage repairs using small hand tools
- Conducts box counts and validates against bills of lading, immediately reporting any discrepancies, shortages, or damages
- Provides selling floor support with product placement and stock recovery
- Completes transfer forms and receives merchandise onto the selling floor
- Ensures cash wraps are fully stocked with operational supplies per store readiness protocols
- Ensures accurate tracking and placement of all paid goods
- Performs deliveries as requested by store management
- Assists client advisors on the sales floor as operational needs dictate
- Utilizes the R-client tool to connect with clients regarding repairs or to propose new products
- Handles new projects as assigned by management or as business needs require
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented with strong task focus
- Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and positive attitude
- Strong team player mentality
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to repeatedly lift large boxes weighing up to 25 lbs
