Retail Support Associate at RIMOWA Madison Flagship, New York. Full-time operations role supporting store productivity and inventory management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Report to Store Manager and ensure work duties are executed with precision and accuracy
- Monitor the flow of all incoming shipments and promptly follow up on any discrepancies, damages, or shortages
- Assist with year-end inventory counts, including preparation and validation of merchandise against bills of lading
- Determine appropriate shipping methods and prepare all relevant paperwork and transfer forms
- Maintain stock areas in a neat, clean, and orderly condition according to company standards
- Complete basic luggage repairs using small hand tools as required
- Perform box counts and validate merchandise quantities, reporting discrepancies immediately to management
- Support the selling floor with product placement, stock recovery, and merchandise presentation
- Receive merchandise onto the selling floor and ensure accurate tracking and placement of all paid goods
- Ensure cash wraps are fully stocked with operational supplies to meet store readiness standards
- Perform deliveries to clients and internal locations as requested
- Assist client advisors on the sales floor as needed to support the overall guest experience
- Utilize the R-client tool to connect with clients regarding repairs or to propose products
- Execute additional projects as directed by management or in response to business needs
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of retail operations or warehouse experience
- Detail-oriented with a task-focused approach
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 25 lbs repeatedly
- Professional demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and positive attitude
- Team player with collaborative mindset
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
