RIMOWA is seeking a Retail Performance and Analysis Intern for a six-month, full-time internship starting in January 2027, based in Paris. The intern will support global retail performance analysis, KPI tracking, reporting, dashboards, and data quality within the Global Retail Excellence department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze RIMOWA’s retail performance across stores, regions, and markets, identifying key trends, risks, and business opportunities.
- Build, update, and enhance weekly and monthly performance reports and dashboards.
- Contribute to defining and tracking business KPIs, including sales, productivity, conversion, traffic, and average transaction value.
- Provide ad hoc analyses to support business reviews and management decision-making.
- Work closely with central teams across Merchandising, Marketing, CRM, E-commerce, IT, and Finance, as well as regional teams, on performance-related topics.
- Support improvements to reporting processes, dashboard reliability, and data quality.
Qualifications
- Higher education qualification (BAC+5) from a business school, engineering school, or university with a strong quantitative focus, undertaken as part of a gap year or final-year internship.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and translate figures into business insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools is a strong plus.
- Detail-oriented and well-structured, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in retail performance and business analysis within a luxury environment; comfortable working with large datasets and KPI reporting.
- Fluency in English is required; an additional language is a plus.
- Previous internship experience in analytics, retail, consulting, finance, business intelligence, or the luxury industry is an advantage.
