RIMOWA seeks a Retail IT Domain Manager in Paris to lead retail systems and CEGID Y2 POS operations within the LVMH Group.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic roadmap development by evaluating business requirements with global teams, assessing feasibility, providing effort estimates, and identifying constraints and dependencies
  • Manage a team of 2 internal project managers, 3+ external technical leads and project managers, and an L2 support team
  • Recruit and staff positions across internal and external (consultant) profiles to maintain optimal team composition
  • Mentor and develop team members to support career progression
  • Maintain and advocate for the Retail IT budget; ensure actuals align with projections and build budget revisions with business and IT counterparts
  • Allocate projects to project managers based on focus area, skills, and development plans
  • Monitor ongoing project progress, guide project managers through key phases, and review deliverables
  • Maintain strategic stakeholder relationships with business units throughout project delivery
  • Manage risks and dependencies across domains; raise prioritization concerns and alerts as required
  • Ensure POS system stability; manage incidents through communication, impact analysis, recovery, and root cause investigation
  • Maintain team processes and organizational structures aligned with business objectives
  • Ensure POS compliance with the latest non-functional requirements including CEGID updates, legal and tax compliance, security, and group governance standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in Retail IT, including at least 3–4 years in a lead, project, or domain management role
  • Proven experience managing external vendors and technology partners
  • Strong knowledge of retail processes: sales flows, payment systems, after-sales service, stock management, and store operations
  • Advanced expertise in Retail IT systems, specifically CEGID Y2, payment terminals, receipt printers, and store peripherals including fiscal printers
  • Solid understanding of omnichannel retail environments
  • Knowledge of APIs, service-oriented architecture (SOA), ETL flows, data integrations, and multi-system interactions
  • Network and security awareness
  • Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Demonstrated natural leadership with excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and operational pragmatism
  • Comfortable in international and cross-functional team settings
  • Fluent in French
  • Professional-level English proficiency
  • Experience in a premium or luxury retail environment is preferred
