RIMOWA — Paris is hiring a Retail IT Domain Manager to lead CEGID Y2 POS, team and vendor delivery for retail systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Retail IT roadmap in collaboration with global business teams; qualify requests, assess feasibility, estimate effort and identify constraints and dependencies.
- Lead and develop the Retail IT team (internal project managers, external tech leads/consultants and L2 support), ensuring the organisation is staffed with the right profiles and growth plans are in place.
- Own the Retail IT budget: monitor actuals, defend and prepare budget revisions with business and IT stakeholders.
- Allocate projects to project managers according to skills and development objectives; guide delivery through key phases and review deliverables.
- Ensure point-of-sale stability and incident management (communication, impact analysis, recovery and root cause analysis).
- Manage risks and cross‑domain dependencies; secure stakeholder commitments and advocate for project prioritisation.
- Ensure POS and retail systems comply with non‑functional requirements including CEGID version updates, legal/tax compliance, security and group policies.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners to deliver solutions on time and to specification.
Qualifications
- 6–10 years' experience in Retail IT with a minimum of 3–4 years in a lead, project or domain management role.
- Deep understanding of retail processes: sales flows, payments, after‑sales, stock management and store operations.
- Proven vendor and technology partner management experience.
- Fluent French and professional level English.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and to prioritise in a fast‑moving, international environment.
- Experience in premium or luxury retail is highly desirable.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 6 years in Retail IT, including at least 3–4 years in a leadership, domain or senior project management capacity; demonstrable experience managing external vendors and delivering POS/system integrations in an omnichannel retail environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
