Role & Responsibilities
- Receive incoming goods and perform stock and quality checks.
- Process goods receipts, stock movements and transfers in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Putaway, relocation and organisation of raw material stock.
- Pick and prepare goods for dispatch, create packing lists and accompanying shipping documents.
- Pack, label and palletise goods; perform load securing for shipments.
- Operate forklifts for loading/unloading and internal transport (including front and side forklifts).
- Carry out inventory activities, cycle counts and general warehouse maintenance.
- Perform general forklift duties and support LKW loading operations.
Qualifications
- Vocational training as Fachlagerist / Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik or equivalent vocational qualification, or long relevant professional experience.
- Valid licence for industrial trucks (Fahrausweis for Flurförderfahrzeuge) with strong experience on front and side forklifts.
- Proven ability using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- High level of physical resilience, reliability and a proactive, autonomous working style.
- Good written and spoken German and English.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in warehouse/logistics operations, including regular forklift operation and responsibility for inventory control.
Education
Vocational qualification as Fachlagerist, Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik or equivalent; alternatively, substantial relevant professional experience.

The successful candidate will be located in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
