RIMOWA Quality Assurance Inspector – Incoming Goods | Permanent Role | Cologne, Germany
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming goods inspections based on test plans, technical drawings, and specifications
- Perform visual inspection of materials and components for damage and defects
- Execute dimensional and measurement-based inspections using various precision measuring instruments
- Document inspection results in quality reports and CAQ system (Babtec)
- Identify and report quality deviations and defects to management
- Support the creation of complaint and non-conformance reports in collaboration with quality assurance experts
- Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards and directives
- Ensure traceability of materials and components throughout the incoming process
- Maintain and service precision measurement and testing equipment
- Participate in the development and updates of inspection plans
Qualifications
- Completed technical apprenticeship (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Tool Mechanic, Warehouse Specialist) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in quality assurance or incoming goods inspection preferred
- Proficiency with CAQ systems, ideally Babtec
- Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) preferred
- High quality awareness and sense of responsibility
- Meticulous and precise working style
- Excellent German language skills (written and spoken)
- Good English language skills (written and spoken)

Entry-level to beginner; prior experience in quality assurance or incoming goods inspection is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates with completed technical apprenticeships or equivalent vocational qualifications are welcome to apply.
