Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑class client service in boutique, advising customers on repairs and product care to foster long‑term brand loyalty.
- Diagnose, plan and perform case repairs in the boutique workshop according to RIMOWA quality standards.
- Operate and maintain workshop machinery and hand tools; ensure a clean, safe and well‑organised work environment.
- Use the repair management system to log repair jobs, order parts and track status; coordinate with central Client Care for complex or offsite repairs.
- Manage workshop organisation including parts inventory, maintenance schedules and vendor relationships for replacement components.
- Communicate clearly with clients about repair scope, timelines and outcomes; escalate and document non‑standard issues.
- Collaborate closely with sales and store teams to integrate repair services into the overall client experience and boutique operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' hands‑on experience in product repair, leather goods, luggage or a related fine‑goods workshop environment.
- Demonstrable craftsmanship skills and experience with small mechanical repairs, metalwork or precision finishing.
- Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple repair jobs and parts logistics simultaneously.
- Customer‑facing experience within luxury retail or after‑sales is highly valued; strong advisory skills.
- Fluency in German and professional working proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of practical experience in luxury goods repair, luggage/leather repairs or a comparable technical craft role; prior boutique or after‑sales workshop experience preferred.
Education
Vocational qualification or apprenticeship in leather goods repair, fine mechanical repairs, crafts or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent demonstrable hands‑on experience accepted.
