RIMOWA in Cologne is hiring an Overseas Logistics Coordinator to manage export/import operations, customs compliance and international shipment flows.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end international logistics operations, ensuring compliance with applicable customs and trade regulations.
- Plan, monitor and manage international flows from order acceptance to delivery to customers or global HUBs.
- Prepare, review and validate all shipping documentation (air waybills, bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
- Liaise with carriers, external warehouses, customs authorities and other external partners to ensure timely execution of shipments.
- Proactively monitor consignments and perform independent troubleshooting and exception management for supply-chain disruptions.
- Drive process improvements to reduce cost and increase operational efficiency.
- Handle claims and damage cases related to transportation and coordinate resolution with stakeholders.
- Produce reports and analyses to track logistics performance and support new logistics project implementations.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in international logistics or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in export/import operations within an international company.
- Solid knowledge of customs and international trade regulations and experience with air and sea freight operations.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Proven ability to work independently with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, strong team orientation, high resilience and flexibility.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in export/import logistics, preferably in an internationally operating company handling air and sea freight.
Education
Vocational qualification in international logistics or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or comparable qualification preferred.
