Rimowa seeks an Operations Supervisor in Costa Mesa, CA (South Coast Plaza) to manage boutique operations, inventory, loss prevention and the operations team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operational performance of the South Coast Plaza boutique, reporting to the Store Manager and partnering with corporate operations teams.
- Manage inventory processes including cycle counts, merchandise reception, supplier returns, shipment handling and reconciliation of stock levels.
- Lead loss-prevention and risk-management activities: physical security, store cash controls, inter-store communication and related compliance protocols.
- Recruit, train, coach and develop the store operations team; set performance expectations and support professional development.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, Retail Operations Manual and standard operating procedures across health & safety, facilities and back-of-house organization.
- Coordinate facilities maintenance, back-of-house standards and supply ordering to maintain boutique presentation and operational continuity.
- Support Client Care operations to preserve service standards and ensure staff are trained on client-facing procedures.
- Execute ad hoc operational projects and recommend process improvements to streamline retail procedures and controls.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of retail management experience with a minimum of two direct reports; demonstrated supervisory capability.
- Professional presentation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving aptitude, positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with store and corporate teams.
- Familiarity or strong interest in fashion and design; affinity for the travel and luggage category preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Minimum 3 years of retail management experience; ideally 3–5 years managing store operations with at least two direct reports and demonstrated responsibility for inventory and loss-prevention activities.
