Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support deployment of Machine Learning and Generative AI models on the company data platform hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Engage with the Head of Data, Data Product Owners and business stakeholders to gather and analyse AI/ML requirements.
  • Educate and acculturate internal teams to Machine Learning and Generative AI concepts and business benefits.
  • Prepare, clean and transform datasets to be fit for model training and inference.
  • Evaluate, test and select appropriate ML/AI algorithms and off‑the‑shelf market solutions.
  • Develop reusable code modules for preprocessing, training, postprocessing and model deployment.
  • Implement monitoring systems to track model performance and outputs in production.
  • Build simple user interfaces or tooling to enable business teams to interact with deployed models.
  • Produce clear technical and functional documentation for models, pipelines and interfaces.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bac+4/5 or equivalent graduate program in Data Science, Big Data, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Fluent written and spoken French and English.
  • Organised, methodical and able to manage multiple tasks with autonomy.
  • Proactive, curious and able to propose pragmatic technical solutions to business problems.

Experience

Entry-level — suitable for candidates in a work‑study/apprenticeship year with academic projects or short internships in ML, data engineering or related fields. Prior hands-on exposure to ML pipelines or cloud services is an advantage.

Education

Currently enrolled in a Master-level program (Bac+4/5) in Data Science, Big Data, Computer Science or equivalent.
