RIMOWA in Paris seeks a Machine Learning Engineer (Apprenticeship) to deploy ML and Generative AI on Google Cloud Platform.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to deployment of Machine Learning and Generative AI models on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Translate business needs into AI/ML use cases through stakeholder interviews with Product Owners and business teams.
- Research, evaluate and recommend market solutions and architectures that meet business requirements.
- Prepare, transform and validate datasets for model training and inference.
- Design, implement and test ML algorithms; select and validate models for production use.
- Build reusable code modules for preprocessing, training, post-processing and deployment.
- Implement monitoring and evaluation systems to track model performance in production.
- Develop simple user interfaces or tools to enable business teams to interact with models.
- Produce clear technical and functional documentation and provide team acculturation on ML and Generative AI concepts.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a four- or five-year degree (Bac+4/5) in Data Science, Big Data, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Organised, methodical and comfortable working in cross‑functional teams.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English.
- Proactive, curious and able to take initiative.

Experience
Entry-level apprenticeship: prior internships or academic projects in data science, machine learning or related domains are advantageous but not required.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Master's-level programme (Bac+4/5) in Data Science, Big Data, Computer Science or a related discipline.
