Rimowa Logistics Manager position in Shanghai, China. Manage supply chain operations, customs, and warehouse logistics across mainland China.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage complete end-to-end logistics operations from regional hub to retail stores across mainland China, including customs clearance, bonded and non-bonded warehouse activities, inbound and outbound logistics, domestic transportation, and e-commerce deliveries
- Coordinate with headquarters on import shipment arrangements, prepare customs-related documentation, and track shipments for both regular and new product lines
- Identify and implement opportunities for lead time optimization and cost reduction throughout the supply chain
- Evaluate existing operational processes and develop improvement initiatives to meet evolving business and operational expectations
- Prepare management reports tracking logistics performance metrics and controlling costs against approved budgets
- Manage relationships with logistics service providers and third-party logistics partners, negotiating service levels and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across operations, procurement, and sales to ensure seamless supply chain execution
Qualifications
- University degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant hands-on logistics or supply chain experience
- At least 2 years in a manager or assistant manager role
- Demonstrated experience in luxury goods logistics operations
- Proficiency in project management and team leadership
- Experience with third-party logistics provider (3PL) tendering and vendor management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese
Skills
Experience
6–8 years of hands-on experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a minimum of 2 years at the manager or assistant manager level. Prior experience in luxury goods logistics operations is strongly preferred.
Education
University degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
