Rimowa is hiring a Logistics Coordinator in New York on a permanent, full-time basis, with a hybrid working arrangement. The role supports transportation, warehouse, and inventory operations, coordinating shipments, fulfillment, reporting, and cross-functional logistics activities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipments from warehouses to customers and retail locations.
- Schedule and monitor FTL, LTL, parcel, and courier shipments.
- Track shipments and communicate delivery updates.
- Review open orders and identify potential delays.
- Obtain shipment status updates and proof-of-delivery documents.
- Assist with transportation issues, including delays, shortages, damages, and refused shipments; maintain shipping documentation and records.
- Support expedited and special shipment requests.
- Support receiving, storage, and distribution activities.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipment accuracy.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate timely order fulfillment with warehouse teams.
- Maintain inventory records and transaction documentation.
- Prepare routine logistics and inventory reports.
- Support shipment performance reporting.
- Assist with data entry and reconciliation activities.
- Work with Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale, Customer Service, and Finance teams.
- Assist with freight claims and supporting documentation.
- Maintain records for audits and operational reviews.
- Support process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, or transportation management systems.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
