RIMOWA internship: Legal support in digital law and GDPR compliance, Paris, Jan 2027, 6 months.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and update the record of processing activities in coordination with internal teams
- Process and monitor data subject rights requests under GDPR
- Contribute to the drafting and review of privacy policies, information notices, and legal documents
- Gain introductory experience in reviewing and negotiating data processing agreements and IT contracts
- Support internal teams in ensuring personal data processing compliance, including privacy by design principles and impact assessments
- Provide legal support to digital and technology projects to ensure compliance with digital law and regulatory requirements
- Monitor regulatory and case-law developments in data protection and digital law
- Develop and deliver awareness and training initiatives to internal teams on compliance matters
- Handle cross-functional matters within the IT, Digital, and data protection scope
Qualifications
- Master 2 degree in Digital Law, Data Protection Law, New Technologies Law, or enrollment as a student at a law school (trainee lawyer status)
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and compliance-related matters
- Good understanding of IT contract law and technology regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong legal analysis and synthesis capabilities
- Professional-level proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional language proficiency is advantageous

Entry-level or no prior professional experience; recent graduate or final-year law student with theoretical knowledge of digital law and data protection.
Education
Master 2 degree in Digital Law, Data Protection Law, New Technologies Law, or current enrollment as a trainee lawyer (élève-avocat) in a French law school.
