RIMOWA seeks qualified legal interns (m/f/d) in Cologne to support the legal department across corporate, employment, and regulatory law specializations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the legal team in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating diverse contracts across business units, with exposure to global business operations and legal risk mitigation
- Collaborate with multiple departments—including procurement, finance, human resources, operations, public relations, and marketing—to align legal requirements with business objectives
- Assist in identifying and mitigating legal risks and monitoring compliance with applicable regulations across multiple jurisdictions, with emphasis on corporate governance and compliance frameworks
- Contribute to exam-relevant legal matters and projects across all business-critical practice areas relevant to international luxury retail operations
Qualifications
- Completion of first state law examination (Erstes Staatsexamen) with above-average results
- Strong interest in commercial and corporate law applicable to international enterprises
- Very good English language proficiency, written and spoken; French language skills preferred
- Self-directed and independent work approach with hands-on mentality
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with complex legal concepts
