Rimowa Junior Distribution Planner
RIMOWA in Cologne seeks a Junior Distribution Planner to manage spare parts distribution and replenishment across markets.

Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and execute weekly and daily distribution of spare parts from the central hub to regional hubs, repair workshops and retail stores to optimise service levels and transport efficiency.
- Ensure continuous spare parts availability at stores and workshops; proactively trigger replenishment actions to resolve stock shortages.
- Coordinate stock rebalancing between markets to prevent both overstock and out‑of‑stock situations.
- Provide rapid regional operational support and adapt planning parameters (coverage, safety stock, replenishment frequency) to local market specificities.
- Develop, document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all distribution processes, including market‑specific variations.
- Support procurement planning by backing up the senior planner in the execution of weekly purchase orders to suppliers for central hub replenishment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in supply chain, distribution planning or inventory management; experience in luxury goods or FMCG is advantageous.
- Fluent English and working proficiency in German.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using a planning tool.
- Strong analytical, priority‑setting and problem‑solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to operate as a collaborative team player.

Experience
At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in supply chain, inventory or distribution planning; prior exposure to luxury retail or FMCG environments is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
