RIMOWA in Paris seeks an Internal Control & Finance Projects Manager (EMEA) to lead internal controls, audits and finance transformation across EMEA.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, document and maintain the EMEA internal control environment, creating and improving procedures in partnership with central internal control and Retail Operations teams.
- Develop and deliver a training and engagement programme for finance back-office teams and retail operational managers to ensure consistent application of controls.
- Plan and execute on‑site audits of boutiques and audits of local accounting firms; lead the annual internal control self-assessment for key EMEA subsidiaries.
- Build and maintain a monthly operational control review for boutiques, synthesising findings into dashboards for Retail leadership to monitor operational excellence.
- Standardise and enforce accounting processes across EMEA subsidiaries (bank reconciliations, aged receivables/payables analysis, balance sheet reviews).
- Sponsor procurement tenders for operational spend to improve zone profitability and ensure supplier alignment with the LVMH code of conduct.
- Provide accounting support to EMEA controllers on balance‑sheet issues, IFRS questions and tax topics (including deferred tax, Pillar II and tax proofs), and perform equity reconciliations Local GAAP / IFRS.
- Act as business owner for Finance IT core‑model deployments across subsidiaries (notably SAP) and serve as finance referent for e‑commerce/omnichannel accounting integrations.
- Contribute to E‑invoicing implementations to ensure compliance with local regulations and support finance set‑up for new subsidiaries and franchise acquisitions (selection/training of accounting firms, treasury and finance tooling).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) from a business school or university, ideally in finance, accounting or audit.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance, internal audit or external audit; in‑house corporate experience and exposure to retail/multi‑entity environments preferred.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); ability to operate in an international, multilingual environment.
- Strong analytical rigour, autonomy and a pragmatic, solution‑oriented approach to operational issues.
- Proven ability to synthesise complex topics, collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and deliver process improvements across multiple countries.

Experience
5–7+ years of relevant experience in finance, internal audit or external financial audit, ideally including in‑company roles and exposure to retail or multi‑subsidiary operations across EMEA. Demonstrated track record of leading control or transformation projects (ERP deployment, e‑invoicing, e‑commerce accounting integration).
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) from a business school or university in finance, accounting, audit or equivalent.
