RIMOWA is hiring an Industrialization Project Manager in Cologne — lead industrialization of new products and technologies for the LVMH maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate industrialization projects for new products and new technologies, ensuring timely realization and cross‑functional alignment.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget and quality; monitor progress, produce reports and execute escalation when required.
- Design production layouts and specify, procure and qualify machines and equipment for series production.
- Plan and supervise machine installation, commissioning and ramp‑up activities to achieve target time, quality and cost metrics.
- Drive capability validations and assurance methods; ensure readiness for pre‑ and final acceptance.
- Create and maintain work instructions and production‑relevant tooling, fixtures and aids.
- Support production line series support and continuous improvement: ergonomics, cost reduction, process optimization and quality improvement.
- Maintain manufacturing standard times/takt times and evaluate/implement technical changes accompanying series production.
- Prepare decision documentation for projects and contribute to the ongoing refinement of project management practices.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial or equivalent); technical apprenticeship or vocational background considered advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years' professional experience, ideally with hands‑on industrialization or manufacturing project management.
- Fluent German (spoken and written); English at B2 level or higher.
- Proven hands‑on mentality with autonomous, structured and solution‑oriented working style.

Experience
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in industrialization, manufacturing engineering or technical project management within a production environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, manufacturing) or equivalent; technical apprenticeship/vocational training is an advantage.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
