RIMOWA seeks an HR Business Partner in Cologne, Germany to provide strategic HR support, talent management, and organizational development within the LVMH Group.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with managers and employees of assigned departments to provide strategic HR guidance on organizational development, talent management, and performance management
  • Advise on implementation of performance improvement measures and exit strategies
  • Accompany change processes and support optimization of organizational structures
  • Conduct employee development discussions and support career planning in cooperation with managers and HR Development
  • Identify training and development needs and design corresponding initiatives in coordination with HR Development
  • Lead recruitment, development, and retention of talents; identify succession planning needs
  • Implement global LVMH HR processes and initiate targeted measures in alignment with HR Development
  • Support design and optimization of HR processes in cooperation with the HR Operations Manager
  • Analyse HR data, implement derived action plans, and prepare HR reportings
  • Own individual projects within the HR team
  • Conduct negotiations with the Works Council on relevant departmental topics as needed

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Law (with focus on Human Resources), or comparable qualification backed by relevant HR-specific certifications or advanced training
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a matrix or corporate structure of a manufacturing enterprise
  • Sound expertise and proficiency in German employment law with capability to independently handle individual labor law cases
  • Confident and authoritative presence across all management tiers with advanced negotiation skills and diplomatic acumen
  • Pragmatic, results-driven mindset focused on aligning HR strategies with operational business needs
  • High resilience, adaptability, and capability to guide organizations through dynamic change processes
  • Absolute trustworthiness and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee data and strategic corporate information
  • Full professional proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken)
  • Very good proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

Experience
