RIMOWA in Cologne seeks a Global Logistics Project Lead to run SAP S/4HANA, WMS/TMS and 3PL projects for finished-goods logistics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross-border logistics projects end-to-end, from diagnostics and business case development to implementation, change management and post-implementation monitoring.
- Define and deploy global finished-goods logistics core models, SOPs and KPI frameworks; act as Business Process Owner for Finished Goods Logistics.
- Own ERP-related logistics initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA rollouts and integrations with WMS/TMS; liaise between logistics, IT and external vendors to ensure seamless system delivery.
- Manage 3PL relationships and support commercial negotiations to secure cost-effective, resilient transport and warehousing solutions.
- Map existing operations, identify process inefficiencies, and design optimization programs to improve performance, reduce cost and mitigate supply-chain disruption.
- Drive digital transformation of logistics functions by evaluating and implementing new technologies (e.g., AI-driven solutions) and data-driven operating models.
- Lead and empower cross-functional teams and third-party providers, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and sustained operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in logistics, transport and warehousing management with responsibility for multi-country projects.
- Proven track record managing ERP implementations and integrations—particularly SAP S/4HANA—and acting in BPO/BPO-oversight roles.
- Demonstrable experience with WMS and TMS implementations and 3PL commercial negotiations.
- Strong analytical ability, process-engineering mindset and hands-on project management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills; ability to influence at senior levels.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20–30%).
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a strong advantage.

Experience
Minimum 10 years in logistics, transport and warehousing management with demonstrated leadership of large-scale projects, ERP (SAP S/4HANA) implementations and 3PL relationships.
Education
Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
