RIMOWA — Cologne: Final Assembly Team Leader (full-time, permanent) to lead production, ensure quality and drive process improvements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide disciplinary and technical leadership for employees on the final assembly line, including day-to-day supervision and team development.
- Conduct annual employee reviews in line with ICR & RISE processes and document staff qualifications to identify training and progression opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal requirements for occupational safety, health, machinery and equipment.
- Achieve and maintain agreed efficiency and quality targets for the production area.
- Coordinate timely execution of planned production orders, document rework, perform root-cause analyses and initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure availability and management of materials, consumables and production aids required for continuous operation.
- Oversee maintenance, servicing and upkeep of the machine park and tools, and maintain general order and cleanliness within the responsibility area.
- Collaborate closely with supplier departments and report daily production feedback to line management.
Qualifications
- Completed technical vocational training in a metalworking or related field; Meister or technician (Techniker) qualification advantageous.
- Minimum of three years' professional experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- First experience in disciplinary or technical leadership within a manufacturing company is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Lean Production and process optimisation is an advantage.
- High quality awareness, strong organisational skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Fluent German; additional foreign language skills are beneficial.
- Basic MS Office skills.

Experience
At least 3 years of experience in production or manufacturing, with some supervisory or team-lead responsibility; experience in metalworking production preferred.
Education
Completed technical apprenticeship in metalworking or equivalent; Meister/Techniker qualification advantageous.
