RIMOWA seeks an Engineering Intern (6 months) in Cologne — on-site manufacturing internship at Rimowa (LVMH) starting 01.07.2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support project management activities, balancing schedule, cost and quality targets.
- Prepare analyses, decision papers, work instructions and production layouts.
- Collaborate closely with production, maintenance and quality teams to deliver projects.
- Contribute to the industrialization of new products, product adaptations and integration of new technologies.
- Assist in sourcing machinery, equipment, tools and production aids.
- Participate in installation, commissioning and ramp-up of production equipment in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Support process optimization and standardization in serial production.
- Help implement Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S) on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Enrolled student in engineering, industrial engineering or a related technical degree programme.
- Basic technical understanding of production and assembly processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to rapidly grasp complex issues and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Hands-on attitude and strong team collaboration skills.
- Proficient with MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Available for a six-month full-time internship starting 01.07.2026.

Experience
Entry-level — suitable for current students. Prior internships, project work or practical experience in manufacturing, process optimisation or production engineering are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 14 per hour.
