Rimowa Distribution Planner
RIMOWA is hiring a Distribution Planner in Paris to manage global distribution planning and inventory optimisation within the central Supply Chain team.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead medium- to long-term global distribution planning for finished goods, ensuring product availability at regional launch dates and across retail and e‑commerce channels.
- Manage product lifecycle distribution (new launches, seasonal ranges, phase‑in/phase‑out) by developing distribution plans, scenario modelling and adapting allocations based on sales performance.
- Define and maintain stock targets in Anaplan in line with DDMRP principles; monitor availability and report risks of shortages or overstocking at regional and store level.
- Coordinate upstream with Supply/Production Planners on reverse planning and optimal requirements, and liaise with Distribution Coordinators and logistics teams to translate projections into container and transport plans.
- Analyse distribution performance using key indicators (AVR, stock coverage, etc.), implement corrective actions (e.g., inter‑regional rebalances) and drive stock optimisation initiatives.
- Facilitate monthly Central–Region planning meetings to provide visibility on launches and future stock tensions and to animate cross‑functional decision making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects: enhance distribution planning routines, develop Anaplan modules and implement distribution KPIs and reporting.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (engineering, business school or equivalent), ideally with a specialization in Supply Chain.
- Minimum three years of professional experience in Supply Chain, including hands‑on Distribution Planning.
- Proven ability to analyse complex datasets and translate insights into strategic allocation decisions.
- Strong communication skills with capacity to simplify and present complex topics to diverse stakeholders.
- Organised, pragmatic and curious with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus.

Education
Master's degree (engineering or business school) or equivalent university degree, preferably with a Supply Chain specialisation.
