RIMOWA seeks Deputy Store Director for flagship Cologne store. Lead luxury retail team, manage VIP clienteling, and drive sales performance. 5+ years leadership required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the flagship store team alongside the Store Director and assume full leadership responsibilities during their absence
- Support store operations through task delegation, cashiering management, personnel oversight, and inventory control
- Build, manage, and develop a high-performing store team with coaching and mentorship
- Drive strategic growth through analysis of product and consumer trends, monitor KPIs, and implement revenue-maximizing strategies
- Deliver exceptional and memorable client experiences for both established brand ambassadors and new customers
- Build and maintain long-term VIP client relationships, foster brand loyalty, and develop private appointment culture
- Oversee all aspects of Client Care Service in-store, adapt global strategies for customer satisfaction, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance loyalty and store profitability
- Embody RIMOWA values, demonstrate diplomatic leadership, collaborate with colleagues, and foster positive team spirit
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience
- Proven leadership skills with demonstrated experience training and coaching team members
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills with confidence in managing both team and clientele
- Extensive experience in the luxury retail sector
- Proficiency with digital tools and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages preferred
- Demonstrated eye for visual merchandising details and achievement orientation
