RIMOWA Paris: Demand Planning Manager (CDI) – lead sales forecasting, supply planning, and forecast accuracy optimization for a luxury luggage house within LVMH.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Construct and manage the central Sales Forecast in Anaplan at SKU level across all RIMOWA regions, channels, and product categories (suitcases, lifestyle, permanent and seasonal ranges)
  • Analyze sales trends, integrate seasonality factors, marketing plans, and network evolution into forecasting models
  • Lead forecast planning for new product launches, determining initial phasing and monitoring performance with merchandise collaboration
  • Develop and manage end-of-life product forecast curves based on trends and projected inventory levels
  • Align central Sales Forecast with Finance budget and strategic house ambitions through clear, shared KPIs
  • Facilitate Pre-S&OP Forecast meetings to communicate forecast evolution and key performance metrics to Finance, Merchandising, and Commercial teams
  • Conduct monthly Forecast Reviews with regional teams to understand local challenges and integrate qualitative and quantitative market insights
  • Monitor and report forecast accuracy KPIs at headquarters and regional levels
  • Collaborate closely with Distribution and Production Planning to anticipate and communicate supply chain impacts
  • Track and enhance forecast accuracy at granular levels (SKU, region, channel)
  • Lead machine learning project deployment, ensuring adoption across central and regional functions and driving algorithm improvements
  • Establish and facilitate a "Demand" community of practice with regional teams to harmonize processes and share best practices
  • Identify and contribute to Anaplan tool enhancements
  • Manage the Lifestyle Supply Planner and support their professional development
  • Define stock policy and supply planning strategy for the lifestyle segment aligned with business objectives and distribution needs
  • Determine monthly ordering requirements consistent with established stock policies
  • Build demand and delivery plans for new product launches
  • Establish supplier order forecasts to secure capacity and supply security

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of Supply Chain experience with significant demand planning exposure in an international retail environment
  • Demonstrated analytical rigor, results orientation, and business acumen
  • Cross-functional leadership capability with exceptional communication and federation skills
  • Practical mindset, agility, and intellectual curiosity
  • Expert-level Excel proficiency; Anaplan knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Fluent English
  • Bachelor's degree from an engineering school, business school, or equivalent university qualification
