RIMOWA offers a full-time legal elective placement in its Cologne Legal team, with a start date by agreement and applications accepted year-round. The trainee will support commercial legal matters across the business, work on contracts, projects, risk management and compliance, and gain practical experience in an international luxury company.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the drafting, review and negotiation of a wide range of contracts and respond to legal enquiries from different business areas, gaining practical insight into securing global business activities.
- Work with departments including Procurement, Finance, HR, Operations, PR and Marketing to coordinate legal requirements and contribute to interdisciplinary projects.
- Help identify and mitigate legal risks and monitor compliance with relevant regulations across different jurisdictions.
Qualifications
- Completed the first state law examination with above-average results.
- Interest in commercial law matters and the diverse legal fields relevant to an internationally active company.
- Enjoyment of working in an international environment.
- Very good written and spoken English; French is an advantage.
- Quick comprehension.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm.
- Independent, self-reliant working style and a hands-on mentality.
