Rimowa seeks a French‑speaking Client Services Advisor in Long Island City, Queens, NY — on‑site role supporting ecommerce and client care (USD $23–$26/hr).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, best‑in‑class service to clients across phone, email, live chat and online repair forms using the company CRM platforms.
  • Manage inbound client contacts to meet SLAs, resolve inquiries and minimise escalations while achieving productivity and sales targets.
  • Coordinate omnichannel fulfilment with the warehouse and carrier partners — processing shipments, returns, cancellations and related escalations.
  • Support after‑sales workflows including assessment and facilitation of repairs (warranty and paid), prepare estimates/quotes and manage replacement requests.
  • Create shipping and repair labels, order repair spare parts in coordination with the workshop, invoice clients and issue payment links when required.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against documentation, record shortages and report or reject damaged shipments.
  • Proactively apply product and process knowledge to anticipate client needs and enhance the overall luxury experience.
  • Liaise cross‑functionally with retail, logistics, CRM and the repair workshop to ensure coherent service across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service, luxury retail, call centre operations or a related fast‑paced environment.
  • Availability to work Saturdays and flexibility for on‑site scheduling in Long Island City, Queens.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex or escalated situations with diplomacy and composure.
  • Strong verbal, written and analytical communication skills; able to follow procedures and take ownership of client issues.
  • Proactive, self‑starter with a collaborative mindset and capacity to multitask under pressure.

Experience

At least 3 years of professional experience in customer service, luxury retail, call centre or operations roles, with demonstrable proficiency handling escalations, omnichannel client enquiries and post‑purchase workflows.
