Join RIMOWA in New York as a Client Care Technician. This full-time role involves repairing and maintaining luxury luggage, requiring technical expertise and attention to detail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspect used and returned products to assess repair needs.
- Repair or replace defective components using appropriate tools.
- Test and adjust repaired products to ensure proper functionality.
- Estimate repair costs, including labor and materials.
- Inspect new products for defects or shipping damage and communicate findings.
- Operate computerized inventory systems for tracking and ordering.
- Assist in training CC Technician Trainees and store employees.
- Load, unload, and move materials manually or with equipment.
- Perform material handling activities such as counting, weighing, and sorting.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations for safe working conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent education required.
- Mechanical background with hand and power tools is essential.
- Experience as a machine operator or assembler in manufacturing preferred.
- Experience in luggage repair is required.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of three years in a relevant field, with hands-on experience using small hand tools and working within product repairs, particularly luggage.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
