Role & Responsibilities
- Inspect used and returned products to determine repair requirements and assess manufacturer defects or shipping damage
- Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, and specialized tools
- Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning according to company standards
- Determine and communicate repair cost estimates based on labor and material requirements
- Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and reordering systems for the service and repair department
- Assist the Head Technician in training Client Care Technician trainees and store employees
- Load, unload, and move materials manually or using hand-operated equipment
- Perform material handling activities including counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking as required
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and maintain safe working conditions
- Maintain daily cleaning of work areas and equipment to operational standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Hands-on experience with small hand tools and power tools
- Proficiency with computerized inventory and record-keeping systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
