Rimowa seeks an experienced Client Care Technician in Beverly Hills to repair and service luxury luggage with precision and expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspect used and returned products to determine repair requirements and identify manufacturer defects or shipping damage
- Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, and specially designed tools
- Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning according to company quality standards
- Determine repair cost estimates for used and returned products, accounting for both labor and material requirements
- Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and reordering systems to track service and repair department needs, stock supplies, and requests
- Assist Head Technician with training of Client Care Technician trainees and store employees
- Load, unload, and move materials manually or using hand-operated equipment
- Perform material handling activities including counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking for service and repair operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA workplace safety standards and best practices
- Maintain daily cleaning and organization of work areas and equipment
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Mechanical background with proficiency using hand and power tools
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a machine operator, assembler, or technician in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Demonstrated experience in luggage or luxury goods repair
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capacity to lift 25 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or technical environment, with direct experience using small hand tools and power tools. Prior experience in luxury goods repair or luggage assembly and repair is preferred.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent educational credential required.
