RIMOWA Client Care Shipper / Receiver, Long Island City, NY – manage inbound/outbound shipments and warehouse operations in luxury luggage repair.
Role & Responsibilities
- Determine shipping methods and prepare bills of lading, customs forms, and commercial invoices using carrier and Repair Management System (RMS) software
- Assemble containers, pick, pack, sort, and crate goods while affixing identifying information and shipping instructions
- Inspect incoming goods against invoices, verify contents, record shortages, and reject damaged merchandise
- Unpack, record, and organize incoming goods; oversee loading and unloading operations throughout the facility
- Execute repair intake assessment, quotation, and invoice administration in RMS systems
- Inspect new and used products to determine complete repair requirements
- Manage and resolve Return-To-Sender shipments
- Partner with Workshop, Retail, and Client Services teams to communicate repair and shipment status updates
- Maintain daily cleanliness of work areas and equipment; transport stock and supplies as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or operations in a luxury retail environment
- Proficiency in shipping documentation and customs procedures
- Forklift license or willingness to obtain in-house certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
