RIMOWA Client Care Inventory Control Specialist in New York — manage spare parts inventory, logistics, and workshop operations in Long Island City.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee spare parts inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability, organization, and flow; execute weekly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records
- Manage all inbound and outbound shipments for spare parts in a timely manner, verifying invoices and shipment contents
- Pick, pack, and process spare parts orders for internal workshops, stores, and clients
- Liaise with shipping providers and carriers to track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and optimize logistics
- Partner with Workshop, Retail, and Client Services teams to communicate spare parts availability and projected lead times
- Provide weekly inventory and inbound/outbound shipment status updates
- Support general workshop administration and team operations
- Assist with repair intake administration and quote/invoice generation in the Repair Management System (RMS)
- Support product inspection to determine repair requirements and manage client quotation approval and payment processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or operations in a fast-paced luxury retail environment
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, and process adherence
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic setting
- Self-motivated team player with a resourceful, practical, and agile problem-solving mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and logistics platforms
- Excellent professional communication skills and liaison capabilities
