Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑class client service to brand ambassadors and first‑time customers, ensuring a luxury retail experience throughout the repair process.
- Diagnose and perform case repairs in the store workshop according to RIMOWA repair standards.
- Operate and maintain the in‑store repair workshop, including routine maintenance of machines, tools and equipment.
- Use the repair management system to log jobs, order parts, track repair progress and coordinate with central Client Care.
- Advise clients on repair outcomes, timelines and product care across the full RIMOWA range; escalate complex or external repairs to the Client Care department.
- Organize workshop workflows and inventory to maximize throughput and quality control.
- Build long‑term relationships with clientele to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Collaborate closely with store colleagues to maintain brand standards and support store performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in product repair, technical after‑sales, or a comparable craft/maintenance role within retail or workshops.
- Proven craftsmanship and manual dexterity with high‑quality consumer goods; experience with luggage, leather goods, or small mechanical repairs is a strong advantage.
- Organized, detail‑oriented and capable of structuring workshop operations and documentation.
- Excellent client‑facing skills and a proactive, service‑oriented approach.
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are advantageous.
