RIMOWA Client Advisor in New York — full-time role at the Soho flagship focused on luxury sales, clienteling and product expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal and store sales by proactively engaging clients and converting leads into purchases.
- Develop and maintain an active client book; cultivate relationships with existing clients and prospect new customers.
- Deliver expert product knowledge and brand storytelling, educating clients on company history, collections and technical features.
- Provide exemplary customer service including prompt follow-up on purchases, repairs and client inquiries.
- Support team targets and collaborate with colleagues to optimise store performance and visual merchandising.
- Operate store POS system, process payments and returns, and perform opening/closing cash procedures.
- Conduct inventory counts, adhere to loss prevention policies and maintain accurate stock records.
- Maintain store readiness and housekeeping standards to preserve the flagship retail environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of retail sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and manage a client book; experience with prospecting and relationship building.
- Professional presentation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Availability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and handle merchandise and boxes up to 20 lbs repeatedly.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of retail sales experience, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury goods and who have an established client book and demonstrable prospecting experience.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
