RIMOWA: Central Procurement Planner in Cologne, Germany — permanent, on‑site role in global procurement planning within LVMH.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate global procurement planning: ensure local procurement execution aligns with global policy and deliver accurate short‑ to mid‑term procurement plans to meet production requirements.
- Monitor and report procurement KPIs, consolidate medium‑ and long‑term raw material needs, and ensure supply plan reliability across factories.
- Drive interdepartmental collaboration: train and support local procurement teams on core processes and tools, and partner with Central Purchasing and Planning to improve procurement reliability and service levels.
- Own monthly procurement parameter analysis within the S&OP cycle: define raw material stock policy, analyse deviations and obsolescence, identify capacity gaps and propose alternative sourcing or inventory scenarios.
- Animate the procurement community: share best practices, benchmark performance, develop supplier performance reviews and create synergies across the LVMH supply chain network.
- Recommend improvements to procurement processes and IT tools to better meet business needs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering or business; specialization in supply chain management preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of planning or procurement experience, ideally within manufacturing or premium goods.
- Proven experience with S&OP processes and defining inventory/stock policies.
- DDMRP competency and a practical, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills; experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders (Procurement, Sourcing, Planning, Quality).
- Fluency in English (written and oral) required; proficiency in German is a strong asset.

Minimum five years in procurement planning or supply chain planning with responsibility for medium‑ to long‑term material requirements, cross‑functional coordination and supplier performance management, preferably in a manufacturing or premium goods context.
Education
