Rimowa seeks a Business Planning & Control Manager in Hong Kong to lead FP&A, variance analysis and store investment planning.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner and internal control lead for the Hong Kong and Macau markets.
  • Lead financial planning cycles, manage locally‑controlled budgets and produce weekly and monthly performance reporting.
  • Perform rigorous variance analysis and translate performance insights into actionable recommendations with department heads and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Greater China Accounting and Controlling teams to optimise month‑end close, reporting and business insight delivery.
  • Own investment planning for the store network, support lease negotiations and coordinate with legal on lease agreement matters.
  • Ensure robust internal control, compliance and governance frameworks are implemented and maintained.
  • Manage market buyback processes and related financial implications.
  • Lead ad hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Demonstrable capability in internal control, compliance and lease/investment evaluation.
  • Proactive ownership, excellent organisational skills and proven project management capability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.

Experience
