Rimowa Business Planning & Control Manager
Rimowa seeks a Business Planning & Control Manager in Hong Kong to lead FP&A, variance analysis and store investment planning.

Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance business partner and internal control lead for the Hong Kong and Macau markets.
- Lead financial planning cycles, manage locally‑controlled budgets and produce weekly and monthly performance reporting.
- Perform rigorous variance analysis and translate performance insights into actionable recommendations with department heads and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Greater China Accounting and Controlling teams to optimise month‑end close, reporting and business insight delivery.
- Own investment planning for the store network, support lease negotiations and coordinate with legal on lease agreement matters.
- Ensure robust internal control, compliance and governance frameworks are implemented and maintained.
- Manage market buyback processes and related financial implications.
- Lead ad hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Strong analytical aptitude with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Demonstrable capability in internal control, compliance and lease/investment evaluation.
- Proactive ownership, excellent organisational skills and proven project management capability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, ideally with substantial exposure to retail or luxury brand FP&A; 5–8 years in a retail/brand finance role preferred. Experience with market buyback processes is a strong asset.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional finance qualification preferred (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
