RIMOWA is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Paris — lead sales, clienteling, inventory and store operations. CDI, full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager to deliver and exceed personal and store sales targets through active selling and leadership on the sales floor.
- Lead clienteling initiatives and cultivate long-term relationships with new and existing clients; act as a visible brand ambassador in the local community.
- Coach, develop and motivate the sales team; provide regular feedback, training in selling techniques and foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
- Oversee stock, inventory movement and repair processes in line with RIMOWA policy; manage receipts, transfers, RTVs and warranty/repair workflows.
- Operate and maintain POS functions and ensure accurate store reporting and accounting; prepare weekly and monthly sales/marketing reports using Excel and Cegid.
- Execute visual merchandising and window displays according to corporate directives; maintain fixtures, lighting and marketing materials.
- Manage day-to-day store operations including facilities issues and cost control while ensuring exemplary service standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three years' experience in a retail environment; prior experience within luxury retail strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable track record of driving sales, executing events and contributing to store start-up or growth initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to coach and develop retail teams.
- Existing network within the industry or local community is advantageous.
- Ability to lift boxes up to 20 lbs repeatedly and willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
