RIMOWA Munich seeks an experienced Assistant Store Manager to lead retail operations, deliver luxury client experiences, and drive team performance at its flagship location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the retail team alongside the store manager and assume full operational responsibility during the manager's absence
- Support efficient execution of daily store operations, including task delegation, cashiering, personnel management, and inventory control
- Drive strategic growth through analysis of product trends, market behaviour, and consumer preferences
- Deliver an outstanding and memorable client experience for both brand loyalists and new customers
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with the clientele base to foster sustained brand loyalty
- Coordinate with the client care department to address special requests and facilitate product repairs
- Maintain visual excellence throughout the store and ensure alignment with brand merchandising standards
- Model collaborative team spirit and embody RIMOWA brand values in all interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury retail or a similar customer-facing leadership environment
- Proven experience in people management and team leadership
- Fluent in German and English (additional languages are advantageous)
- Demonstrated expertise in retail operations, inventory management, and point-of-sale systems
- Strong visual merchandising sensibility and attention to detail

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in luxury retail management, customer service leadership, or a comparable discipline requiring demonstrated expertise in team supervision, operational efficiency, and high-touch client engagement.
Education
Secondary education required; higher education in business administration, retail management, hospitality, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
