RIMOWA is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Munich — lead retail teams, drive client experience and manage store operations at the LVMH maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support and deputise for the Store Manager; assume leadership responsibilities and decision-making in their absence.
- Lead daily store operations including cashiering, inventory control and adherence to operational procedures.
- Coach, develop and motivate the sales team; manage task delegation, performance feedback and staffing coordination.
- Drive commercial performance through analysis of product and consumer trends, sales forecasting and achievement of store KPIs.
- Deliver a consistently exceptional client experience and cultivate long-term customer relationships via clienteling and personalised service.
- Coordinate special client requests and product repairs in collaboration with the Client Care department.
- Contribute to visual merchandising standards and ensure the boutique presentation aligns with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regional teams on store projects and initiatives to support brand objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in retail, preferably in luxury or premium brands, including people management responsibilities.
- Proven experience in leading a retail team and driving commercial results.
- Fluency in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Demonstrable eye for visual detail and store presentation standards.

Minimum 5 years of retail experience, ideally within luxury or premium retail, with direct experience managing or supervising sales teams.
