RIMOWA Paris seeks an Accounting Apprentice (alternance) from Sept 2026 to support AP/AR, bank reconciliations and month‑end close using SAP and internal CRM.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support accounts payable processes: invoice entry, vendor master updates in the internal CRM and SAP, supplier payments and reconciliations.
  • Execute accounts receivable tasks: issue and post invoices, monitor receipts and follow up on overdue balances.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, account matching and general ledger account letterings.
  • Process and verify employee expense reports and corporate card transactions, including posting and reconciliation.
  • Maintain and track fixed assets records and support related accounting entries.
  • Contribute to month‑end and period close activities and preparatory work for balance sheet and management situations, according to level of responsibility.
  • Verify intercompany flows and process intercompany invoices and payments.
  • Participate in preparation and compilation of data for tax filings and statutory reporting.
  • Support continuous-improvement projects within the central finance function.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or holding a Bac+2 / Bac+3 in accounting (or DCG pathway) — apprenticeship/alternance contract.
  • Ideally one prior experience in accounting (audit firm, accounting firm or in‑house accounting placement).
  • Rigorous, proactive and eager to learn; comfortable working collaboratively within a small finance team.
  • Good command of English as a working language.

Experience

Early-career candidate; ideally one prior internship or short-term professional experience in accounting (either in an accounting firm or within a company).

Education

Bac+2 / Bac+3 in accounting or equivalent vocational post-secondary diploma; DCG pathway is an advantage.
