Richemont offers a two-year AFP watchmaking apprenticeship in La Côte-aux-Fées, combining four days of technical classes at Manufacture ValFleurier with one day of theory at CPNE. The apprentice assembles and inspects watch components, adjusts movements and performs micromechanical, casing, dressing and final-control work, supported by approved trainers in the Mechanical and Manufacturing workshops.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assemble components for electronic, manual mechanical and automatic watches.
  • Perform quality checks at different stages of production.
  • Carry out micromechanical work and watch assembly.
  • Adjust and check movement precision.
  • Case and dress watches.
  • Perform final inspections.

Qualifications

  • Be in the 11th year of secondary school and have a passion for watchmaking.
  • Be motivated and meticulous, with strong concentration and excellent dexterity.
  • Have an intermediate general academic level.
