Richemont seeks a Production Watchmaker Apprentice for a three-year CFC programme based in La Côte-aux-Fées. Training follows a dual system, with technical classes at Manufacture ValFleurier three days a week and theoretical classes at CPNE technical school two days a week; apprentices receive training from two accredited trainers at the internal training centre.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble components for electronic, manual mechanical and automatic watches.
- Inspect quality at different stages of production and correct defects.
- Perform production operations including assembly, finishing, movement start-up and regulation, pivoting, dial fitting, hand fitting, casing, and watchmaking.
- Carry out micromechanical work, assembly, finishing, start-up, regulation, pivoting, casing and dressing, ensure movement and casing conformity, and perform final inspections.
Qualifications
- Currently in the 11th year of secondary school and passionate about watchmaking.
- Motivated and meticulous, with strong concentration and excellent dexterity.
- Advanced general academic level.

Currently in the 11th year of secondary school; advanced general academic level. The CFC is a Federal Certificate of Capacity. The three-year dual-system training combines practical work with technical classes at Manufacture ValFleurier three days per week and theoretical classes at CPNE technical school two days per week.
