Role & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service and repair mechanical watch movements to brand technical protocols, including disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, reassembly and timing regulation.
  • Perform overhauls and repairs on complications (chronographs, calendars, and other haute‑horlogerie mechanisms) with meticulous attention to tolerances and finish.
  • Operate timing and diagnostic equipment (timegrapher/Witschi), ultrasonic cleaners and precision measurement tools to validate performance and water resistance.
  • Execute polishing, finishing and part replacement to meet maison quality standards; prepare and document technical reports and service histories.
  • Maintain workshop tooling and inventory, ensure traceability of parts, and comply with atelier health, safety and quality procedures.
  • Liaise with after‑sales advisors and quality control to communicate technical findings and expected repair timelines to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or vocational qualification in watchmaking, micro‑mechanics or equivalent horological training.
  • WOSTEP certification or equivalent recognized watchmaking accreditation strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience servicing luxury mechanical watches; proven competence with chronographs and common complications.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity, visual acuity and familiarity with fine mechanical tolerances.
  • Strong adherence to standardized repair documentation and quality control processes.
