Richemont is hiring a Watchmaker Level 3 in Madrid — senior watchmaker for haute horlogerie servicing and after‑sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, disassemble, overhaul, assemble and regulate mechanical watch movements to brand technical standards, including complex complications (chronographs, perpetual calendars, tourbillons where applicable).
- Perform precision adjustment, timing and regulation using timing machine and micromechanical instruments; verify amplitude and rate within specification.
- Execute case, dial and hand removal/installation, gasket replacement and water‑resistance testing to guarantee finished repairs meet quality control criteria.
- Identify and document parts requirements; liaise with parts procurement and workshop management to source genuine components and track repair status.
- Complete technical reports and service documentation in accordance with brand after‑sales procedures and warranty policy.
- Maintain workshop instruments and cleanliness of the bench; ensure calibration and correct use of timing machines, microscopes, ultrasonic cleaners and torque tools.
- Mentor and train junior watchmakers and apprentices; share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement of workshop processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma in watchmaking (WOSTEP, SAWTA or equivalent) or formal vocational qualification in horology.
- Certification or formal training in mechanical movement servicing; additional qualification in complex complications preferred.
- Excellent manual dexterity, fine motor control and sustained visual acuity for micromechanical work.
- Fluent technical literacy with workshop documentation and ability to follow precise technical procedures and schematics.
- Commitment to brand standards, confidentiality and high levels of customer service for after‑sales operations.

Experience
Minimum of five years’ hands‑on experience servicing mechanical watches in a high‑end or manufacture service environment, with demonstrable competence on modern and vintage calibres and experience handling complications.
Education
Vocational diploma in watchmaking (WOSTEP, SAWTA or equivalent) or formal horology qualification.
